Final day

Sarah, Henry and Dennis left for school this morning and we gave them farewell hugs as we will be gone when they get out of school. Today is Henry's first day of school and he is excited. (We'll have to share that story in person.) After breakfast and devotions we had some discussion about what we were apprehensive about before we left home and how God made everything okay here, such as physical limitations that have been overcome. We reflected about how God has kept us in good health during our trip and how we need to continue to pray for one another, and we need your continual prayers, as Satan will attack when we get home too. We know that we also have our Ugandan family praying for us when we return.



Wayne Unruh from the Fairview Church of God in Christ Mennonite had given us the contact imformation for some of the missionaries in Uganda. This morning Pam made a call for us to the one that has a Jinja address. She discovered they actually live in the village of Naminja where the widows live and where the water well is being drilled. The husband was in Jinja at the food market so Elton and Pat rode the Bodas to meet him and bring him back to the Compound to meet the Team and meet Pam. (Paul is in Kampala on business) His name is Joseph Lehman from Ohio and they are here on a 33 month mission trip. We had a good visit and shared with him our struggles with the pump drilling. It turns out that they have some experience in water well drilling and may be a contact for our Ugandan crew to be able to complete the well and pump installation. We showed him the pictures we had taken to help explain our process. He was excited to learn of the Widow's oven and that they could order pizza. It was a good time of visiting and we are excited to share with Wayne and his church that we were able to make contact.



We are packing and preparing for the trip home. Please pray for our safety and continued good health as we return to Fairview. We miss you all and are looking forward to reuniting with you.
