If the well at Naminya is completed by the time we get to Uganda, we are hoping to install a hand pump there and then we are taking two solar pumps and panels to install at the Fountain of Hope school in Bukeeka and possibly another well drilled at Abdu's chicken farm. However, we are fully aware that God may have other plans in store for us and things are always subject to change, especially in Uganda! So much has happened in the months after leaving Africa. I think it is fair to say that most of us fell in love with the country and it's people. We cherish the friendships we made while there. Since we left, there have been births, marriages and even deaths among the people we were closest to. Betty and Blessing each had babies, Alfred got married just this month and Abe was shot and killed during a robbery. Abe was the young man that got arrested for speeding while taking Don to Kampala to get pipe the last time we were there. It will be different going back.
We have been in the process of raising funds to go and God has been good. We are all getting excited as the time draws closer. Especially those of us who already know what to expect. We are looking forward to working with Paul, Pam, Abdu and Betty and the rest of the Next Generation Ministry team.
