Saturday was a day of relaxing. The desks were done and delivered. Paul and Pam went to Kampala for the day to pick up The Dove Voice Band for the weekend and run some errands. We went to town to shop and just look around town. When we got back, as usual the power had gone out and we were making pizzas for dinner for the Band and the team. Hannah got creative and strapped a flashlight to her apron so she could see to make the pizzas.

We had a great time visiting and getting acquainted before they sang for us.
These guys are so full of joy and they have a BIG sound, no microphones needed!! They sing at the top of their lungs.
As a team, we decided we would bring new long sleeved dress shirts for the guys for their performances. They were so happy, but not as happy as when we brought out the other thing we blessed them with.
These guys have literally nothing and usually do their concerts with borrowed instruments. Before leaving the U.S. we purchased a brand new bass guitar and after we got to Uganda we purchased an amplifier for it. To say they were excited is an under statement. We have never seen people praising the Lord in such an exuberant manner!! Appreciation doesn't even cover the emotion!!
They were jumping all over the living room, whooping and screaming with joy!!!
The Dove Band gave a concert at church the next morning and just about blasted us out with the loud bass! They love the Lord so much and it was a joy to bless them so they can in turn bless others with their music!!
