A Day of Celebration!!!

On Sunday we all loaded up in a taxi, driven by our taxi driver Richard, and headed for Bukeeka for Church and the dedication of the water tower and system. It was a glorious day with several of the workers that worked closely with Don, Robert and Justin on the project in attendance. In fact, we stopped and picked up some of the men and their wives on the way to insure they would make it to help with the celebration. Among those we picked up was Ali and his wife and baby. God was certainly up to something that day and we cannot wait to see what will happen. We know a seed has been planted. You see, Ali is Muslim, but agreed to come with us to church. After we got there, he decided he couldn't come into the building where we were having church, but they were outside and could still hear what was being said and heard all of the singing and praising. Ali is such a happy and friendly man, unlike some of the other Muslims we saw and he was always smiling. Please pray with us that he and his family will come to know the Lord soon.

Another family we picked up was Patrick and Grace Wasswa. He was the welder that welded all the desks for us last year. He couldn't wait to help us with the new project, even putting some of his work he had lined up on hold just so he could work with our team again. He has made some significant changes in his life over the past year since we were there.

We also picked up the Plumber that did all the plumbing on the well. His name is Dennis and he brought his nephew with him that he takes care of since his brother passed away.

This is one happy lady that works in the kitchen at the school showing us how she turns on the tap to get water now instead of having to carry it from the well.
